This database will only contain information already in the public domain and will only be available to registered users. The server that provides the services offered by Swift Formations runs on a Linux operating system which is continually monitored and all available security maintenance is carried out as and when required. The server is physically housed in a high security premises in Harbour Exchange, London. Access to the server is only provided to authorised personal via security ID badges, which are monitored onsite by video surveillance and 24 hour security personnel. Electronic access to the server is restricted at IP level by a firewall. All unnecessary TCP/IP ports are closed to public access except those necessary for the operation of the website and communications to Companies House.
The TCP/IP ports that are necessary for the operation of the system are 80 (HTTP), 443 (HTTPS), 21 (FTP), 110 (POP3), 143 (IMAP) and 25 (SMTP). Access to port 22 (SSH) is restricted to the IP addresses of the Leagrave office only.
